Who is texting you
Prime Chimney Services, a home-services business in Dallas, Texas. Messages come from (214) 393-5261 or from a number we tell you about in advance. A real person at our office reads the replies.
How you opt in
By giving us your mobile number — on a form on this site, on the phone, in a text you send us first, or on a signed quote — and ticking or saying yes to being contacted about your enquiry. We do not buy mobile numbers for texting and we do not text a number that reached us any other way.
Consent is never a condition of buying anything
You do not have to agree to texts to get a quote, book a job, or have work done. Say you would rather we called or emailed and that is what we will do. Nothing about your price, your place in the schedule, or your warranty changes.
What we send
Service messages tied to your job: confirming an appointment, telling you a technician is on the way, letting you know a quote is ready, following up on work we have done, and answering what you ask us. If you separately opt in, occasional seasonal maintenance reminders — a handful a year, not a stream.
How often
Message frequency varies with your job. A typical enquiry-to-completion runs to a few messages. Seasonal reminders, if you opted in, are no more than about four a year. We do not send daily marketing texts, ever.
Cost
We do not charge for messages. Message and data rates may apply from your own carrier, depending on your plan.
How to stop
Reply STOP to any message and we stop, immediately and permanently, and send one final confirmation. You can also say stop in plain words to any of us, by text, phone or email — we do not require a magic word. Reply START to opt back in. Reply HELP for help, or use the contact details below.
Your opt-in is never shared or sold
Your mobile number, your opt-in and your consent to be contacted stay with us. We do not share, sell, rent, trade or lease them — not to affiliates, not to lead buyers, not to marketing partners, not to anyone. The only third party that ever touches your number is the messaging carrier that physically delivers the message on our behalf, which cannot use it for anything else.
Carriers and delivery
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Messages depend on your carrier and your handset, and neither we nor the carriers can guarantee delivery. Never rely on a text for anything urgent — if you smell gas, see smoke, or have any other emergency, leave the building and call 911.
Supported carriers
Messaging works across the major US carriers, including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, US Cellular and the regional and prepaid carriers that ride on their networks. Availability on any specific network is up to the carrier, not us.
Privacy and terms
What we do with the rest of your information is set out in the Privacy Policy, and the terms covering our work are in the Terms of Service.
