Accessibility Statement

What we build to, what we have tested, what is still broken, and how to reach us without this website at all.

What we are aiming at

Prime Chimney Services builds this site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. That is the level US courts and federal guidance treat as the benchmark for a business website, and it is the level we hold new work to.

Where we actually stand

Partially conformant. We build to the standard and we test against it, but no independent auditor has certified this site, so we are not going to tell you it is fully conformant. Saying otherwise would be easy and would be untrue.

What has been tested, and what it found

In August 2026 we audited our sites at a 375-pixel phone width by measuring the real geometry in a browser rather than reading the code. It found two classes of problem and both were fixed: the cookie notice was covering the Call button on a first visit, so a visitor could not reach the primary action until they dismissed something they had no reason to read; and five controls were smaller than the 44x44-pixel minimum — the seasonal-alert dismiss, the menu button, the certification links, the back-to-top control and the footer credential links. Colour contrast is measured on brand colour pairs before they ship, and pairs that fail AA at their text size are rejected rather than adjusted by eye.

What we know is not solved

We have not had an independent audit, and we have not tested every page with a screen reader end to end — this site has thousands of pages and the testing has been on the templates behind them, not on each one. Some guides use diagrams whose text alternatives describe the diagram rather than fully replacing it. Video, where we use it, does not always have captions. If any of these blocks you, contact us and we will get you the information another way, immediately, while we fix the page.

Ways to reach us that need no website at all

Everything on this site can be done by phone. Call or text (214) 393-5261 and a person will book the work, describe pricing, answer questions and take a cancellation — you never need to use a form. Email [email protected] if that is easier. If you would rather not read a written quote, ask and we will go through it with you line by line on the phone.

Telling us about a barrier

Email [email protected] with the page and what happened — even roughly, "the booking form will not let me past the date field with a keyboard" is enough. We will confirm within two business days that a person has it, tell you what we found, and either fix it or explain honestly why it will take longer. If it is a barrier that stops you getting service, we will serve you by phone in the meantime rather than make you wait for the fix.

Assistive technology

We test with keyboard-only navigation, browser zoom to 200%, and the screen readers built into current versions of macOS, iOS, Windows and Android. We do not install an overlay widget that claims to make a site accessible on the visitor's behalf — those are widely reported to interfere with the screen reader someone already uses and set up. We would rather fix the pages.

How this statement is kept honest

Reviewed whenever we change a shared component that affects navigation, forms or contrast, and the date above moves with it. If something on this page stops being true, that is a defect and we treat it as one — tell us at [email protected].
