The Standard We're Measured Against
We don't buy badges. Here is the published standard behind every inspection, the policy on work that legally needs a licensed professional, and the guarantees we put in writing on every visit.
Ask us for the certificate of insurance before we start. We'd rather you check.
Not our opinion. Published standards.
Anyone can call themselves an expert. The useful question is which written standard the work is measured against — because that is the part you can read yourself, without taking our word for anything.
NFPA 211
National Fire Protection Association
Standard for Chimneys, Fireplaces, Vents and Solid Fuel-Burning Appliances
The national standard our inspections, clearances, and liner work are measured against — and the source of the annual-inspection schedule our care plan is built on.
Read the standardIRC Venting
International Residential Code
Chapter 10 — chimneys, fireplaces and vent terminations
Clearances to combustibles, termination heights, and hearth-extension dimensions, applied to the code edition actually in force where you live — not a one-state assumption.

Chimney Liners
The listing relining systems are tested and classified under
Every liner we install is sized and verified against the listing it was tested under. A liner that does not match its listing is not a liner we will sign off on.

Chimney Safety Institute of America
CSIA-certified technicians on our crew
The chimney trade's recognized certification. We state it at crew level — we do not publish individual names or certificate numbers, and you should be wary of any company that does.
Read the standardFour promises, on every job.
These aren't marketing lines. They are how the job actually runs, and you can hold us to every one of them.
Licensed & Insured
Work that requires a licensed professional — gas, electrical, or structural — is performed or signed off by one, to the code in force where you live. Insurance is carried on every job, and a certificate of insurance is available on request before we start.
A written quote, first
A written, line-item quote you approve before any work begins. No blind estimates, no verbal numbers, no tool comes off the truck until you have said yes to a price.
Photo proof, both ways
Photo evidence behind every finding and every completed job. If we say a crown is cracked or a liner is breached, you see it. If we say it is fixed, you see that too.
Re-quote, never surprise
The quote you approved is the bill you pay. If we open the system and find more than the quote covered, we stop, show you, and re-quote. You decide again.
Five questions. Ask us, then ask the next quote.
We publish these because we answer yes to all five, in writing, and most of the cheap quote on your kitchen table will not.
(214) 393-5261Are you insured for this specific job, and can I see the certificate before you start?
Who signs off the gas, electrical, or structural portion — and are they licensed for it here?
What standard is this inspection run to, and which level of inspection am I buying?
Will I get the quote in writing, line by line, before work begins?
Will I get photos of the problem and of the finished repair?
What we deliberately don't claim.
We don't display bought accreditations, borrowed association logos, or awards nobody gave us. We don't publish individual technicians' certificate numbers. And we don't tie our licensing language to a single state, because the code that governs your job is the code in force where you live — that's the one we work to. Everything on this page is either a public standard you can read or a promise we put in writing before we start.
